In October 2011, Google, Ipsos and the Mobile Marketing Association released data from a global survey focusing on how people are using mobile technologies. Rather than releasing a static report on the results, they developed a Website where interested individuals can analyze the study data by region, demographics and more.
Users can create their own charts and graphs focusing on the data by utilizing a dashboard developed by the partnership. A sample chart developed using the dashboard illustrating mobile search engine use by gender and frequency appears below.
