Path of the Blue Eye Project KnowledgeDrive Pledge

60 Days, 120 Submissions, 120 Books for Kids

From January 6 to March 8, 2010, we'll be holding our first KnowledgeDrive for health marketers and low-income kids.  We're asking members of the extended Path of the Blue Eye Project community to submit 120 pieces of content to the NewsHub and Q&A Center over a 60-day period.  If we meet our goal, we'll donate 120 books to low-income children via First Book, a non-profit dedicated to ensuring less affluent kids are fully literate.  (Read the First Book story here.)

Here's how the KnowledgeDrive will work: 

  • Submit interesting news articles, blog posts and other content to the NewsHub (click here to learn how)
    • Content focusing any area of health marketing communications is welcome; feel free to promote
      your own stuff
    • Votes to stories submitted to the NewsHub are encouraged, but will not count toward the submission total
       
  • Ask and answer questions from your peers at the Q&A Center (click here to learn how)
    • Want advice, information or career guidance?  Feel free to ask (or answer) any type of question
       
  • Each week (starting on January 15) we'll tally up the submissions and post them to our blog, Walking the Path; check the blog weekly to see if the community is reaching its goal
    • Submissions by Path of the Blue Eye Project staff (Fard Johnmar, Sarah Ragsdale, Merry Whitney)
      will not count toward the total
