45% of Hispanics Using the Web Are on Facebook

In March 2010, ComScore released data highlighting Hispanics' rapid adoption of the Internet and social media technologies.  Most importantly, the company found that a large proportion of Hispanics are using social networks like Facebook.  Specifically: 

  • ComScore found that the Hispanic Internet audience increased by 3.3 million people during the period ending January 2010
  • Facebook was the fourth most visited site by Hispanics in January 2010, representing 45% of the online Hispanic population.
