According to a study released in early February 2010 by the public relations firm Ruder Finn, Americans are spending an average of 2.7 hours on the mobile Web per day.  In addition:

  • Mobile Web users are more likely to use their devices to be a part of an online community
  • 62% of mobile users are sending and receiving instant messages

This study is part of Ruder Finn's Mobile Intent Index, a quarterly nationally representative poll examining the behaviors and intent of 500+ mobile users.
