PrintThe Media/Materials Clearinghouse is an initiative of the Johns Hopkins University/Center for Communication Programs. It is a global database of health communications-related materials, including posters, audiotapes, videos training materials and Websites.
The Clearinghouse also features numerous health communications case studies, including:
- The BodyLove Project: A radio soap opera developed by the University of Alabama at Birmingham, designed to encourage African Americans to adopt healthier lifestyles.
- The Speaking Book: An illustrated publication that educates South Africans with low literacy levels on a range of topics, including HIV/AIDS and TB.
- Egyptian Avian Flu Educational Advertisement: An educational television advertisement that educates and informs Egyptians on the Avian flu.
