PrintA digital advertising network consists of a group of related Websites that feature similar content (e.g., health). Media planners and buyers purchase bulk advertisements (i.e., banner advertisements or text ads) on these sites, usually at reduced rates. In health, popular advertising networks include Everyday Health, and WebMD. According to Jason Ary, a media planner at InTouch Solutions the key benefits of digital advertising networks, include:
- The ability to advertise on large and niche Websites at once - without having to negotiate separately with each publisher
- Expanded targeting potential, i.e., the ability to expose specific audiences (divided by geography or gender)
